Opening the Nagi Nest

Power switch (power should be on) is on the utility pole, road side entrance.

Water pump switch is on the same utility pole. Turn it on.

Water heater fuse is turned off. The fuse box is at the end of the hallway. Be sure water pump has been on 15 minutes or so before activating fuse.

The furnace is behind the hinged door in hallway. Flip switch to on. Turn up thermostat and it will kick on.

Ktchen Appliances ... Refrigerator should be on. No oven (sorry) ... Stove top has manually lighted burners. Butane lighter is on counter top. Click on lighter, place near burner slowly turn burner on to ignite.

The washer and dryer are in the hallway. They work like most.

The vaccum cleaner is in the smallest bedroom closet. Electric broom, regular broom and dust pan are in the kitchen closet (near the door)

Beds ... 4 in day room (one trundle under each bed), sofa is a hide - a - bed.

Linens are in dresser drawers of largest bedroom

Pillows and sleeping bags are in closet of largest bedroom

Air mattress in same closet. Air pump in Rubbermaid shed.

Gas grill on deck. Turn gas on. Utensils in long closet in kitchen

The outdoor shower is wonderful and provides endless hot water. Works like any other shower once the pilot is lit.

Towels, tolietries, etc. in bathroom closets.

Fuses are on top of the fuse box, light bulbs in the largest bedroom closet, north wall.

There are all kinds of things in the shed, tubes, starter logs, lawn mower, etc.

Michigan has 10 cent bottle deposit. There is a garbage can in the metal shed for recyling.

Please carry your own garbage out when possible. The blue garbage bags with "Sun" written on the ouside can be left at the curb and will be picked up ... they are $3.50 a bag so please make good use of them. All large garbage bags are in the shed.

The phone is available ... please be reasonable. Phone books are in space above broom closet.

Not much television reception. Switch closest to the door operates the television outlet.
- Kitchen table light has on/off switch on the cord.
Reverse Process to Close Down:
Additionally, because people visit the Nagi Nest regularly and I often am not around between visits, I ask that you:
- Wash the towels and bed clothes before you leave. It takes about an hour and half to wash and dry. If you run out of time just throw the stuff in the dryer and I'll put them away when I get in.
- Vacuum and/or sweep.
- Carry your garbage, perishable food, etc.

Leave the windows open
A couple of other thoughts:
- All the windows have screens.
- Keep looking, chances are you will eventually find what you need.
- Stony Lake Store has GREAT ice cream.
- Neighbors are friends and good resources for trailer problems and or local info.
- The nearest hospital is in Shelby (next town North on 31)
- HAVE FUN!
- You MUST write in the journal! (it is on end table of living room by the lighthouse light)

Raccoons and other critters love snacks. Close the shed door before going to bed or they will get in the garbage and corn!
